Keep Calm and Carry On

Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British Government in 1939 during World War II in an attempt to keep the public calm and to guide them to carry on with their business despite the World seemingly, and actually from the Bombs Hitler was sending, falling in on them. It was not just Chicken Little saying the Sky was falling, but lead, steel and sharpnel crashing down on them. Thousands died and people took shelter when the Air Raid Sirens went on. To not Panic was contrary to what was normal. Thus the UK government, in a bold move, produced this poster.

Regardless of where the “Keep Calm and Carry On” slogan begin, is today or will finish it is a testimony to the Human Spirit to face adversity, with God’s help, and to carry on to Victory. I pray you can, with God’s help, Carry On against the Troubles in your life too.
